WELDING INSTRUCTOR
Impact Institute, located in Kendallville, Indiana, is seeking an instructor in its Welding program.
The successful candidate will have proficient knowledge in Oxyacetylene Welding, Gas
Tungsten Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Flux Cored Arc Welding, Plasma Cutting,
Shielded Metal Arc Welding, welding blueprints and symbols, non-destructive testing and
safety/health regulations as related to the welding field.Impact’s Welding Instructor has the
responsibility to prepare students to meet entry level knowledge and skill requirements in their
specialty area. Our welding program is open to high school juniors and seniors from 13 high
schools in Northeast Indiana.

Candidates should hold an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector credential
AND Certified Welding Educator credential or have the ability to obtain these credentials within
2 years of hire; a current teaching license or the ability to obtain an Indiana Workplace
Specialist license; and a minimum of 5 years work experience as a welder. In order to obtain a
Workplace Specialist License, candidates must be able to provide documentation of either
6,000 clock hours of occupational experience within 5 years or 4,000 clock hours of
occupational experience within the last 10 years and documentation of a two year Associate's
Degree or higher.

● Ability to establish relationships with students and industry partners

PART-TIME CUSTODIAN
Impact Institute, located in Kendallville, Indiana, is seeking a part-time custodian team member
for our facilities in Kendallville.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

The goal of this position is to provide services that will maintain a healthy, safe, clean, and
positive environment at assigned school sites.

This position requires basic knowledge of maintenance equipment used on assignments,
capable of doing heavy manual work in routine housekeeping duties and grounds work in and
around school, ability to follow directive and to work equally well as a team member and
without constant supervision, and have the ability to communicate orally and in writing.

PART-TIME PRIMARY HEALTH CARE CLINICAL ROTATION SUPERVISOR/INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT
Impact Institute, located in Kendallville, Indiana, is seeking an instructional assistant/rotation supervisor in its health care programming. The Primary Health Care Program is designed for students who have identified nursing as a career path and provides CNA and Home Health Aide training and certifications. PHC is open to high school juniors and seniors from 13 high schools in Northeast Indiana.

Candidates should hold an LPN license or above. Experience teaching CNA course preferred.

The goal of this position is to implement the State-Approved health curriculum to prepare
students with entry level knowledge and skill requirements in the healthcare field.

The job consists of 30 hours per week for 26-28 weeks per year. It is not a year round position.

PART-TIME HEALTH OCCUPATIONS EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR
Impact Institute, located in Kendallville, Indiana, is seeking a part-time instructor in its health care programming in DeKalb County. The successful candidate will be asked to teach in the Health Occupations Education The Health Occupations Education Program is an exploratory program that provides rotational experiences in multiple areas of health care.The program is open to high school juniors and seniors from 13 high schools in Northeast Indiana.

Candidates should hold at minimum an A.S. in Nursing with a B.S. in Nursing preferred; a current teaching license or the ability to obtain an Indiana Workplace Specialist license; and a minimum of 5 years work experience as a registered nurse. In order to obtain a Workplace Specialist License, candidates must be able to provide documentation of either 6,000 clock hours of occupational experience within 5 years or 4,000 clock hours of occupational experience
within the last 10 years and documentation of a two year Associate's Degree or higher.
