COMPUTER AIDED DRAFTING INSTRUCTOR
Impact Institute, located in Kendallville, Indiana, is seeking an instructor in its Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) program. The successful candidate will have proficient knowledge of computer aided drafting including concepts in a rchitectural, civil, electrical, and mechanical drafting and design. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge and abilities in the following software programs: AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and Solidworks. It is also helpful to be familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Impact’s CAD Instructor has the responsibility to prepare students to meet entry level knowledge and skill requirements in their specialty area. Our CAD program is open to high school juniors and seniors from 13 high schools in Northeast Indiana.

Candidates should hold a current teaching license or the ability to obtain an Indiana Workplace Specialist license; and a minimum of 5 years work experience in computer aided drafting. An Associate’s Degree or higher in Engineering Technology is preferred. In order to obtain a Workplace Specialist License, candidates must be able to provide documentation of either 6,000 clock hours of occupational experience within 5 years or 4,000 clock hours of occupational experience within the last 10 years and documentation of a two year Associate's Degree or higher.

TEACHING ASSISTANT FOR EVENING ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES IN AUBURN
Impact Institute needs a Teaching Assistant for our evening adult education classes in Auburn. Class runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. for approximately 12 hours weekly. The ideal candidate will possess good organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize functions, manage time wisely, and have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Strong computer skills are required.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
