MOST SUCCESSFUL ADULTS CAN POINT TO SOMEONE (OR SOMETHING) THAT INSPIRED THEIR CAREER.

Now, Impact Institute and the Dekko Foundation want more young people to have these life-changing supports!

BOOT CAMP

A new opportunity for DeKalb and Noble Counties’ 2017 incoming freshmen. Students will spend two days learning about the variety of training Impact Institute offers. Then, they’ll choose an eight-day deep dive into one of these interest areas:

  • Auto Body Collision Repair
  • Auto Technology
  • Construction
  • Marine Mechanics
  • Precision Machining
  • Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC

VOCATIONAL TRAINING OFFERS MORE THAN JUST SKILLS

I’ve come a long way, especially since IMPACT Institute. I learned it’s ok to make mistakes and you have to ask questions. I met kids who were different than me, and I looked up to them for their skills.
